Just saw the prep redzone way too early top 10 for A1 and A2.

A1

1.Fairview
2.Hooker
3.Meeker
4.Pawhuska
5.Pocola
6.Stroud
7.Wyandotte
8.Tonkawa
9.Cashion
10.Wynnewood

A2

1.Mangum
2.Woodland
3.Thomas
4.Regent
5.Hominy
6.Ringling
7.Apache
8.Gore
9.Moorland
10.Morrison

First off they are pretty close in A1 I think, Pawhuska should be 2 IMO and Hooker 3. Pocola and Wyandotte seem like that is too high, and WineEwood is a joke. Pawnee should probaly be in the top 10. A2 what in the world are they thinking with Mangum #1? They got drummed in the first round and have not had success in trecent years past. Woodland should be 1 and having an 8 man school over hominy seems off. Thomas is a power so I don't wanna say that is too high, but maybe. Woodland gets back like 9 on both sides of the ball, and they beat my huskies last season so I bet they will be tough. I would have Mangum around 9 or 10. The rest of A2 looks about right.

Mangum brings 9/11 back in both sides of the ball and replace them with a 6’4” 200 lb QB who is a crazy stud, and a 6’3” 280 lb Lineman that is one of the strongest kids in Oklahoma Augustine I think his name is. They will have 50 something kids playing football in low A and have one of the better coaching staffs in Class A with one of the Top offenses in Class A. In 2019 they were 11-2 and in the quarterfinals… struggled in 20 due to Covid as did a lot of good places. 21 won the district and got upset in the first round losing 9/11 seniors and that happens to people sometimes. In 22 they started 9 freshman/sophmores, stud QB went out in 23 with torn labrum and that would hurt any good program in Class A, take Woods off Hominy and they still found a way to go 7-4 and 8-3… please give me a team going 7-4,8-3 in their down years every single time… have been told they haven’t lost a JH game in 3 years so the talent coming. Should they be #1, no, I think that belongs to Woodland but they are no doubt Top 5 in Low A.

Would also no doubt put Hobart in Top 10 in upper A… they bring 10/11 back on both sides of the ball have struggled the last two years because of their youth but they will be back. By the way Woodland lost 5-6 starters off this team but do return a very impressive QB. Maybe this guy, Prepredzone, had his sequence of rankings because he actually studies the game, studies the area, talks to coaches, knows the statistical data, and evaluates the players at the programs in his ranking. Not just homering his home team and then making off the wall assumptions and recommendations that’s he pulled out of his rear.

I can promiss you Woodland have 6 seniors 3 were starter. They had 5 JR o-lineman, JR's at QB, RB, and one of their Wr. Don't know how you are coming up with losing 5 starters. Mangum has just not been good in the playoffs. Their quarter final year they were drummed in the quarters, and have gotten out of the first round once since 2009 outside of their quarter finals run. I just have to see them win some to believe it. Their district is weak, probaly the weakest in Class A the last several years, so winning it is good but their first round playoff record is a testament to how weak the district is. IMO.

Both Stroud and Wyandotte moved up to 2-AII

So last weekend I watched the Cowboy shoot out and got to see Woodland and Mangum live in a 7v7 situation. After watching it I think Woodland looks pretty good and Mangum looked pretty bad. I know its 7v7 and not real football, but the crazy 6'4 stud QB looked very inconsistent. hence they went 0-4 in pool play. I'm sorry I just dont buy that they are real and have no business in the top 5 and maybe not the top 10. Again, in know its 7v7 but arnt they a spread team? If they are throwing the ball 50% of the time they looked like they had a lot of work to do before September.
