Joseph Zaleski 1941 — 2024 Joseph Zaleski, 82, of Charleston, WV passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024. He was born to Dr. Joseph and Juanita M. Zaleski in Morgantown, WV on June 22, 1941. He graduated from University High School in Morgantown. Joe graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 1962 and received his Masters of Public Administration from the University of Dayton. He was born on June 9, 1930, in Keyser, WV, to the late Virgil Leonard Messick and Catherine Elizabeth Cirillo. After graduating high school, Charles married his sweetheart, Lorena Harris and traveled across country. When they returned, he entered the Navy and served his country proudly. Once discharged from the Navy, he attended WVU, (West Virginia University) where he completed a Batchelor's degree in Business Administration. He was a true "Mountaineer" and represented them whenever the opportunity arose. He worked for I.E. DuPont as a construction engineer... She was the wife of the late John Dlugos; they were married in 1957. Grace is survived by her sons, Dennis Dlugos and Stephen Dlugos (Dee); daughter, Jennifer Duthie (Andrew); and grandchildren, Courtney, Jillian, Jan, Joseph, and John.
